At Ana Mandara Cam Ranh, we believe that true luxury is not only about indulgence, but also about intention. Our commitment to sustainability reflects the very soul of Vietnamese culture—one that values nature, community, and a deep respect for the land.
From the symbolic conical roofs designed to blend with the earth, to the careful selection of eco-conscious amenities, every detail of your stay has been thoughtfully curated to reduce environmental impact while enhancing your connection to nature.
🌿 OUR GREEN MILESTONES
2022 – The Beginning: Sustainability from Day One
From its very first days of operation, Ana Mandara Cam Ranh was shaped by a strategic vision for sustainability. Over 85% of the land was preserved as green space, nurtured with native plants. Open architectural designs allow for natural airflow and lighting, reducing energy consumption while immersing guests in a tranquil and nature-connected atmosphere.
More than 80% of the construction materials used were non-fired and eco-friendly—such as palm leaves, bamboo, rattan, and reclaimed wood. LED lighting and solar water heating systems were integrated throughout the resort. Remarkably, 90% of our staff are locals, embodying our belief in community-based tourism.
Organic practices extend to landscaping: plant waste and leftover food are composted into natural fertilizer, replacing chemical alternatives and helping protect the soil and groundwater—while reducing maintenance costs.
A dedicated wastewater treatment system was professionally installed from the outset to ensure environmental safety.
2023 – Embedding Sustainability in Every Touchpoint
In 2023, Ana Mandara launched its on-site glass bottling plant, replacing single-use plastic bottles across the resort. Our “Zero Plastic” initiative also brought in biodegradable paper straws, eco-friendly napkins, compostable bags, and recyclable packaging.
Guests were invited to join the journey: a Green Card placed in every room reminded them,
“I’m not just here to rest – I’m here to make a change.”
Weekly Green Days brought guests and staff together in coastal clean-up efforts and hands-on green activities—transforming sustainability into a shared, joyful mission.
🗓 2024 – Recognition & Commitment
Ana Mandara Cam Ranh was honored with a Asian Green Hotel Award for our sustainable operations and environmental responsibility.
The resort also proudly began its certification journey with Green Globe, marking a new chapter of international alignment with global eco-tourism standards.
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”
